Sowing
Light is required (Johnny's): press seed into the surface and cover very lightly 6 to 8 weeks before planting out.
Care and transplanting
Grow seedlings a little cooler (63 to 68°F). Harden off and plant out after frost.

Saving seed
Collect shiny black seed from dry flowerheads.
